IWC World Heavyweight Title Match:
Dennis Gregory defends against “Sweet N Sour” Larry Sweeney
While Dennis Gregory was in the ring on the mic this past Saturday at Summer Sizzler 4, he ran down several members of the IWC roster, including then-Super Indy Champion “Sweet N Sour” Larry Sweeney. A little later in the night, during Sweeney’s title defense against “Fabulous” John McChesney, Sweeney was attacked on the floor by Gregory. The IWC Champion ran Sweeney’s face into the ring post, busting him open behind the ref’s back. Gregory climbed in the ring and apparently “sealed the deal” with the newest member of Gregory’s Unholy Alliance, John McChesney. McChesney later went on to win the title, much to the delight of Gregory. While Sweeney got his shot at McChesney on July 21st in a baseball bat match, he still wants a crack at Denny Gregory for busting him open, which later led to his downfall in the match. So IWC offficials have decided to sign “Sweet N Sour” Larry Sweeney in a grudge match with Dennis Gregory for August 18th in Newville, PA, and it’s for the IWC World Heavyweight Title!

“The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles
Two IWC and TNA favorites will be meeting for the first time in IWC in 2 years. “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe took on “The Baddest Man in IWC” Raymond Rowe this Saturday night in the most anticipated match of 2007, and came out on top the victor. But on August 18th, he’ll be taking on his old rival, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles. These men have met many times outside of IWC, including memorable matches in TNA, including the finals of the 2005 Super X Cup, which Joe also won. The credentials of either man read a mile long. Joe has 3 X-Division titles, the longest ROH World title reign ever, was the first man to win both ROH World and Pure titles, was the longest reigning UPW Heavyweight Champion, and much much more. Styles has 4 X-Division titles, 2 IWC Super Indy titles, 3 NWA World Heavyweight Titles, 3 NWA Tag Team Titles, and much much more. They meet one more time inside the IWC ring, this time at Newville Knockout 3 on August 18th, 2007. Big Spring Community Center will have to strengthen the foundations as this match might just blow the roof off!

IWC Tag Team Title Match:
The Gambino Brothers defend against The Cleveland Mafia, Johnny Gargano & Michael Facade, and Jason Gory & Justin Idol
As you may have seen in the backstage segment on IWCwrestling.com featuring Ray Rowe, J-Rocc, and Samoa Joe, Raymond Rowe wants to get gold back into the Cleveland Mafia. While J-Rocc wants him to go after the IWC World Heavyweight Title, Rowe has his sights focused on the IWC Tag Team Titles once again. He has gone to IWC officials and requested a shot at the tag team titles, so on August 18th at Newville Knockout, they will get the chance. Jason Gory and Shiima Xion, collectively known as BabyFace Fire, were set to receive an IWC Tag Team Title shot at Newville Knockout 3 on August 18th. That is, until Shiima Xion had a bottle smashed over his head by Marshall Gambino. Shiima was in the hospital, having small shards of glass removed from his face, and doctors gave him four weeks until he could return to the ring. IWC officials, not wanting to cancel the three-way dance for Newville, inserted former champs Michael “The Bomber” Facade & Johnny Gargano into the match with Tag champs, The Gambino Brothers, and The Cleveland Mafia. Gargano & Facade defeated The Mafia at the tail end of a Tag Title Gauntlet back at Super Indy VI to win the belts, right after the Mafia pinned the Gambinos to eliminate them. Then, two months later at Summer Sizzler 4, the Gambinos won the belts back from Facade & Gargano. It made sense to insert them into this match, giving them the rematch for the belts, plus giving J-Rocc & Ray Rowe a chance to avenge their loss to the new tandem from Super Indy VI. But now, not wanting to pass up his shot at regaining the belts, Jason Gory has gone to IWC officials, asking to be put into the match again. Gory wanted revenge for what the Gambinos did to his partner, and he would go to any length he could. That’s where “The Aerial Icon” Justin Idol comes in. Idol, a good friend of Xion & Gory, offered Gory his services in the match, making it a four-way dance! Idol & Gory have teamed up with success in the tri-state area before, winning tag gold for several companies. Call them BabyFace Harassment, call them Sexual Fire. Whatever you call them, they’re now getting a shot at the IWC Tag Team Titles in Newville!

Rematch from Ellsworth Basebrawl 2007:
“Balls Hot” Troy Lords vs. “The Havana Pitbull” Ricky Reyes
This will be the fourth match between these two men. They first met in the Super Indy V tournament semi-finals, where Lords won out with a brainbuster. Then, at Throwdown / Stay Down this past April, then-IWC Champion Reyes met then-Super Indy Champion Lords in the first ever meeting of the two singles champions in IWC history. Reyes came out on top with his dragon sleeper submission. On July 21st at Ellsworth Basebrawl 2007, Reyes and Lords met onc emore, both men needing a victory after losing their belts and subsequent matches at Summer Sizzler 4 against Dennis Gregory and Azrieal, respectively. Reyes dropped Lords on his head with a sickening Cradle Breaker, and scored the victory. As Lords got revenge on Azrieal for his loss at Summer Sizzler 4, he now wants to avenge his other loss in July, this time against Reyes one more time. Ellsworth saw what these two had, now it’s time for Newville to brace itself for Reyes vs. Lords: Round 4!

Grudge M atch:
HENTAI vs. “The Shooter” Brent Albright
At No Excuses 3, HENTAI was ousted from the “New Unholy Alliance” as the group dropped the name, and HENTAI, altogether. He was obviously questioning the union from the start. At Summer Sizzler 4, as the group came together, HENTAI was stand-offish and even denied a show of goodwill from Steven Colter as Colter held the ropes open for HENTAI. Then, at Ellsworth Basebrawl 2007, HENTAI declined to choose a member of the Alliance as his tag partner, instead going with an associate of his old friend Delirious, Daizee Haze. At No Excuses 3, HENTAI told the new Alliance that he felt uncomfortable in this position, and he felt that there was no Unholy Alliance without Shirley Doe and HENTAI. Dennis Gregory, taking exception to the comment, said “If you’re not with us, you’re just like the Unholy Alliance… you’re dead!” And with that, the group turned their back on the original member, HENTAI. Sebastian Dark delivered a one-man con-chair-to to HENTAI’s arm, injuring it. Later in the night, as Brent Albright’s opponent, Jon Bolen, was nowhere to be seen, HENTAI stepped up and took on “The Shooter”. It was a valiant effort by the first ever Super Indy Champion, but Albright targeted his injured arm, and finished him off with the Crowbar armbar submission. Now, with his arm two-weeks healthy, HENTAI wants a rematch with Albright in Newville, PA! IWC officials were glad to sign the grudge match, and now it’s on for Newville Knockout 3!

“DeeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco vs. Newville’s own Ian Jordan
IWCwrestling.com received late-breaking news that one half of the Hollywood Balds and a member of The Family, “DeeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco, has demanded a match for Newville Knockout 3 this Saturday night. Furious that the Balds were the only regular IWC tag team not included on the card at Big Spring Area Community Center, DeMarco demanded a match against anybody Newville had to offer. As luck would have it, IWC Promoter Norm Connors was talking with a young upstart from the Newville area about competing on his first-ever IWC live event. Ian Jordan just made his professional wrestling debut for Buckeye Pro Wrestling in Ohio this past May. A product of Shark Boy’s wrestling school, he has recently competed for Pro Wrestling Entertainment in Pennsylvania, making his debut against one-half of Chikara’s Campeones de Parejas, Icarus. Since this youngster was looking for a shot at wrestling for IWC, and DeMarco was demanding a match, IWC Promoter Norm Connors signed it! It will be Jimmy DeMarco vs. Ian Jordan this Saturday night in Newville!
