After a one month hiatus, Eric returns to do his weekly “M.V.D.- Most Valuable Diva” column here on Online World Of Wrestling!
“M.V.D. – Most Valuable Diva” is a weekly column where a WWE Diva or TNA Knockout is named the Most Valuable Diva of the Week based on their overall performance. The divas/knockouts that compete in matches and/or take part in segments automatically get nominated for Most Valuable Diva.
This week’s nominees for M.V.D. are:
The Bella Twins: Brie Bella faced Funkadactly Naomi on RAW with sister Nikki by her side. The twins pulled their usual “Twin Magic” off, and Brie, or should I say Nikki, got the win. After the match, Cameron had the referee reverse his decision after finding out about the switcheroo. The Bellas took offense and beat down The Funkadactlys. As far as I can tell, this is not the last we’ve seen of The Bellas vs. The Funkadactlys.
The Funkadactlys: Naomi faced Brie Bella on RAW with fellow Funkadactly Cameron by her side. Naomi had control of the match, until The Bellas pulled “Twin Magic” and got the win over her. After the match, Cameron told the referee about the switcheroo, causing the ref to reverse his decision and declare Naomi the winner. The Bellas beat The Funkadactlys down, making Naomi look like the real loser in the process.
Summer Rae: Summer Rae teamed up with dance partner Fandango to face Natalya and The Great Khali in a Dance Off on RAW. The WWE Universe ultimately declared Natalya and The Great Khali the winners. Judging by Summer Rae’s dancing, the WWE Universe made a smart decision. Summer luckily redeemed herself on NXT when we we treated to an impressive match between her and Paige. Although she lost the match, Summer perfomed better wrestling-wise than she did on RAW dancing-wise.
Natalya: Natalya teamed up with boyfriend Great Khali to face Summer Rae and dance partner Fandango in a Dance Off on RAW. The WWE Universe ultimately declared Natalya and The Great Khali the winners. Natalya was also seen backstage on both RAW and Smackdown with Kaitlyn, talking about Kaitlyn’s secret admirer.
AJ: New #1 contender for the Divas Championship AJ had a backstage confrontation with Kaitlyn. AJ insulted Kaitlyn’s “man arms,” but was put in her place quick by her former BFF after being called a “crazy little tramp” and finding out the secret admirer gift wasn’t for her. OUCH!
Kaitlyn: Divas Champion Kaitlyn had a backstage confrontation with AJ on RAW. AJ insulted Kaitlyn’s “man arms,” but Kaitlyn quickly fired back by calling her former BFF a “crazy little tramp.” Kaitlyn went on to challenge AJ to try to take the Divas title away from her. A crew member from backstage showed up with a gift from a secret admirer of Kaitlyn’s that consisted of a spiked hat and a note. On Smackdown, Kaitlyn received flowers and another note from her secret admirer. Who could possibly be Kaitlyn’s secret admirer?
Paige: Paige competed against Summer Rae on NXT. Paige went into the match looking to get revenge on Summer Rae. Although Summer nailed Paige with a sneak attack early on, Paige came back and won the match after nailing the PaigeTurner on the blonde beauty. Is this the last we’ve seen of Paige vs. Summer Rae?
Tara: On Impact Wrestling, Tara teamed up with veteran Knockout Gail Kim to face Mickie James and Taryn Terrell. Going into the match, Tara was looking to put an end to Taryn Terrell. However, Taryn Terrell got a roll up on Tara for the win.
Gail Kim: On Impact Wrestling, Gail Kim teamed up with veteran Knockout Tara to face Mickie James and Taryn Terrell. Going into the match, Gail was looking to put an end to Taryn Terrell after having enough of dealing with her. However, Taryn Terrell got a roll up on Tara for the win. Gail wasn’t going to let Taryn get away that easily, and she attacked her after the match.
Taryn Terrell: On Impact Wrestling, Taryn continued to be on a roll after getting the win for her and Mickie James against Tara and rival Gail Kim. After the match, Taryn was attacked by Gail.
Mickie James: On Impact Wrestling, Mickie James and Taryn Terrell defeated Tara and Gail Kim in tag team action.
This week’s MVD is…
Kaitlyn!
Kaitlyn completely OWNED AJ during their backstage confrontation on RAW. She showed a lot of attitude, and she wasn’t afraid to fire back at her former BFF, even if it meant calling her a “crazy little tramp.” I can’t wait to see what comes of this feud in the coming weeks. Although Kaitlyn may have let AJ get the best of her before, Kaitlyn’s standing her ground and won’t let AJ get the best of her. And hey, what if the secret admirer thing will have something to do with this feud? We’ll just have to wait and see.
