Page nailed Moxley with a lariat and a Buckshot Lariat. After the match, the AEW doctor checked on Moxley in the ring. Moxley appeared to be completely out of it.
Adam Cole makes his return
Tony Schiavone is in the ring and introduced Adam Cole. He came out to a huge ovation. He then introduced everyone to Story Time with Adam Cole Bay Bay. HE said he had good news and bad news. Cole said he always wanted to be a pro wrestler and gets to do it in AEW. Cole said being injured made him realize how much he misses it with his with his shoulder and head injuries. He went on and talked about the issues he had the last few months and mentioned the fan support he has had, saying that has meant the world to him. He thanked the fans. Cole then said the bad news is for the AEW locker room, as Adam Cole is back and he is not going anywhere. He said he is not done yet and will not stop until he becomes the very best in AEW. He concluded by saying there is a new Adam Cole born tonight and that one day he will be on the top of the mountain.
There was a backstage segment with The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn. They said on this Friday’s Rampage they will receive stars on the Walk of Fame.
“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry & FTW Champion HOOK defeated Big Bill & Lee Moriarty
Perry submitted Moriarty with the Snare Trap for the win.
There was a backstage interview where Renee Paquette talked with Danhausen, Orange Cassidy and new Golden Globe winner Paul Walter Hauser, who had his award with him and said he will show it off this Friday on Rampage. Hauser then asked Cassidy if things were cool with Best Friends and Cassie said yeah, as Trent & Chuck Taylor walked in and both agreed.
Renee Paquette was backstage at the locker room door of The Elite locker room door saying telling there hasn’t been a Best of 7 series in the Forum since the Pistons vs. the Lakers back in 1988.
Konosuke Takeshita made his entrance before the next match. MJF came out and interrupted and mocked him. MJF called him Take-A-Shit-A and tolf him not to take one tonight, but that needed him to win tonight. Takeshita told MJF to kiss his ass and then shoved him and demanded he leave the ring. MJF then said people think he cannot last 60 minutes with Danielson. He then said go to ask their mothers and skank girlfriends how long he can last. But unlike Danielson, he is all about pinning shoulders on mats and banging rats. MJF then called out Ken Jeong ringside and mentioned The Hangover and then mentioned his failed sitcom Dr. Ken that was done six years ago. MJF then called out Freddie Prinze Jr. MJF said to him he does not remember She’s All That since he was born in 1996 and called Freddie a Scooby-Dooby-Douchebag. MJF concluded by saying there will not be an Ironman Match. Bryan Danielson’s music hit and he came out to the ring, as MJF sprinted up the ramp to avoid him.
Bryan Danielson defeated Konosuke Takeshita
Danielson stomped down Taskeshita with boots and then put him in the Regal Stretch. Takeshita fell unconscious.
Renee Paquette was backstage with Juice Robinson. She asked him what he wants to accomplish in AEW. Robinson told Renee he is in AEW to kick ass and take names. He then challenged Darby Allin for the TNT championship this Friday night on Rampage.
AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter & Dr. Britt Baker (w/Rebel) defeated Saraya & Toni Storm
Britt hit Storm in the back and allowed Hayter to hit the Hayter-ade for the win on Shida who looked shocked after getting pinned. The fans were really behind Hayter.
Jericho Appreciation Society Promo
The J.A.S. came out all in matching gold jackets. Jericho said it was a huge week for the J.A.S. He mentioned showing up at the PWG Battle of Los Angeles. Jericho then said Tay & Anna winning their street fight and sending Action Andretti back to the minor leagues and then ending the Ricky Starks Experiment.
Ricky Starks & Action Andretti interrupted JAS from the stage. Starks said that they are still standing, while Jericho then interrupted and compared Andretti to little orphan Oliver. Andretti then interrupted Jericho and told him to shut up or he will shove his baseball bat up his ass. Andretti then said Guevara cannot control his wife, even her own hands, which were between Guevara’s legs last week. Starks then told Jericho to move so he could talk to Gilligan in the hat and then called Hager a village idiot who still has his dumb lisp. Hager told Starks he will slap his face. Starks then told Hager he will show Hager next Wednesday who is absolute.
The Elite defeated Death Triangle to become the new AEW World Trios Champions
Kenny Omega made the climb on the ladder and pulled down a titles to win the match and Trios Championships for his team.
