April 5, 2010 – East Rutherford, NJ
Announcers: Michael Cole & Jerry “The King” Lawler

World Heavyweight champion Jack Swagger + WWE champion John Cena + Randy Orton + Unified Tag Team champions ShowMiz (Mike “The Miz” Mizanin & The Big Show) + “RAW Guest Host” David Otunga: Jack Swagger rolled the footage of him winning the World championship on SmackDown! by defeating Chris Jericho. Swagger said he made history on SmackDown! when he cashed in his MIIB briefcase and became YOUR champion. Swagger said before he begins with his state of the championship, he has a few opening remarks. Swagger said last week he thought about cashing in his contract on Cena, but thought that if he really wanted to be recognized as a champion, he needed to take on the best in the world at what he does, Chris Jericho. Swagger said he would have beaten Cena even quicker then he beat Jericho, which was only 9 seconds! Swagger said he’s considering giving his skills exclusively to SmackDown!. because no one on RAW compares to his abilities (Editor’s note: Even though he lost every week for like 6 months). John Cena came out and congratulated Swagger. Cena said Swagger was officially the luckiest man in the world. Cena said the people don’t care about what you’ve done, but part of being a champion, is having people look forward to what you are about to do. Cena sarcastically said he’ll be so sorry to see Swagger leave RAW. Cena said he gets it, the World championship belongs at SmackDown!, but Swagger said he thinks no one on RAW can compete with him. Cena said the problem is there’s one RAW superstar wearing orange, who’s calling him a liar. Cena said that same RAW superstar, thinks Swagger is not championship material. Cena said he earned his title (by defeating Batista), but Swagger hasn’t earned what he has. Cena said Swagger is nothing but a weasel. Cena said he bet Swagger wants to shut him up, so he’ll give him a chance. Cena said if this is his last night on RAW, he should be a champion and give him (Cena) a match. Swagger wasn’t interested, so Cena said he would be a champion and step up. Cena said he’s so sure that he’s going to do to Swagger what he did to Batista, make him tap out, that he’ll put the WWE title on the line. Swagger said it didn’t work for him, and wanted to tell him why. Randy Orton came out and said he’s sure Swagger would want to face the man who beat him last week.. him! Suddenly, ShowMiz (Big Show & The Miz) came out. Miz said it was so typical of them to come out and try to steal the spotlight. Miz said the show is not about any of them; it’s about the unified tag team champions! Miz said it’s because Big Show is the worlds largest outfit, and he’s the Miz, and he’s awesome! David Otunga came out and said everyone knows him as the most promising rookie on NXT, but tonight, he’s the RAW guest host! David said this show is going to be top notch all the way around. David said Swagger would face the man who pinned him last week, Randy Orton! David said ShowMiz would defend the Unified tag team titles against Batista, and his partner John Cena! David left and Orton tried to RKO Cena, but Cena pushed him into Swagger and Swagger got an RKO instead!

Sheamus defeated Kofi Kingston: Kofi Kingston quickly got out of a powerslam attempt and hit some kicks, before running right into a urinage backbreaker! Sheamus threw Kofi around and raked his eyes across the ropes, before Kofi was able to kick Sheamus in the side of the head and hit a springboard cross body block. Sheamus tried to throw Kofi out of the ring but he bounced off the ropes and hit a drop kick. Kofi ran into the bicycle kick moments later. Sheamus waited for him to get up and hit another one, followed by the razors edge for the 3. After the match, Sheamus went under the ring for a steel pipe and smacked Kofi in the back of the head with it! Triple H was shown on his way to the ring.

Sheamus + Triple H: Sheamus was standing in the ring with a mic and his pipe. Sheamus said last week Shawn Michaels career came to an end. Sheamus said it was a 25 year career but it took 8 years for him to win a World championship. Sheamus said it only took him 6 months! Sheamus said he was supposed to cap it all off by being victorious at WrestleMania, but the biggest moment of his career was taken away from him by Triple H. Sheamus said last week he took something away from Hunter. Sheamus said he attacked Hunter with a steel pipe. Sheamus said he knows Hunter is here tonight. Sheamus said rather than come and get his revenge, Hunter decided to come out and say goodbye to Shawn, and he cried. Sheamus said the reason Shawn left was so he didn’t have to face Sheamus. Sheamus said at WrestleMania, Hunter and Shawn had one great match left in them. Sheamus said Shawn left before Sheamus could take him out, but Hunter was a bit more stubborn. Sheamus said he believes Hunter doesn’t have one great match left in him, so is he going to leave in a blaze of glory with his head held high, or is he going to be carried out in a wheelchair? Sheamus said Hunter is a smart man, he can make the decision, or Sheamus will make it for him. Hunter came out and stopped at the top of the ramp for a moment. Hunter took his leather jacket off, and began to get in the ring. Hunter went down from the apron, and grabbed a sledge hammer out from under the ring! Hunter got in the ring, blocked the steel pipe, and hit Sheamus in the stomach twice with the hammer. Hunter tried to hit him again outside of the ring, but Sheamus moved so Hunter broke a monitor instead. Sheamus ran away through the audience. Hunter grabbed the mic. Hunter said it was silly for Sheamus to bring a pipe to a sledgehammer fight!

Eve Torres defeated Rosa Mendes and Jillian Hall and Kelly Kelly and Katie Lea and Alicia Fox and Gail Kim and Nikki Bella and Brie Bella: They all had to wrestle in dresses, which is obviously a terrible idea. WWE Divas champion Maryse was on commentary, because the winner gets the next title shot. The Bella’s threw out Rosa immediately. The Bella’s were eliminated quickly after that. Kelly drop kicked both Gail Kim and Katie Lea out. Jillian picked up Kelly and threw her out easily. Alicia and Jillian tried to double team Eve, but Alicia was thrown out moments later. Alicia tried to pull Eve out, but Jillian wound up falling out moments later. Editor’s note: Not that good of a recap, but this wasn’t that good of a match, what do you expect?

David Otunga + Santino Marella + Hornswoggle: David Otunga was talking about how awesome he was while a bunch of his posse stood around looking like morons. David had RAW shaved into the side of his head… David showed them his bowl of 427 green M&M’s. Santino came in looking for the A-team. David said there’s no A-team, it’s the A-list. Santino said he was the president of the Mr. T fan club, and that he pitied the fool who told him Mr. T wouldn’t be there tonight. David’s entire posse laughed. Santino said if the real Mr. T was here, he wouldn’t let someone do “that” to his M&M’s. The camera panned over and Hornswoggle was eating them. Hornswoggle ran away so David sent some of his posse after him (one dove over the table at Hornswoggle). Santino said he loves it when a plan comes together!

ShowMiz (Mike “The Miz” Mizanin & The Big Show) defeated John Cena & Batista by countout to retain the Unified Tag Team title: The Miz and John Cena started, and Cena quickly got Miz in a headlock. Miz tried to get out and almost wound up in the STF, followed by the attitude adjustment. Big Show tagged in and leveled Cena with a head butt. Miz tagged himself in and tried for his turnbuckle clothesline but Cena moved. Cena tried for a tag but Batista walked away. Cena chased after him and they both got counted out. David Otunga came out and said ShowMiz wasn’t getting off that easy. David said later tonight they would defend again, but since Cena and Batista can’t get along, Cena’s new tag team partner, is him! Cena looked like he wanted to kill himself, probably the same look Jennifer Hudson gets every time her name is mentioned on TV wrestling shows.

Ted DiBiase Jr. defeated Christian: Ted Jr. came down to the ring with the million dollar championship belt. Ted said last week at WrestleMania his dad was inducted into the hall of fame. Ted said that prestigious honor must have had some kind of effect on his father, because last week on RAW he did something he’s never done before. Ted said he tried to act like a father. Ted said one act of random kindness doesn’t make up for all those lost years. Ted said the time for missed opportunities was over, and his dad knows better then anyone how to win him over, it’s not through his heart, it’s through his bank account. Ted thanked his dad for the trust fund, and the million dollar title. Finally, Christian came out and hit a flurry of punches, before hitting a backdrop and throwing Ted over the top rope. Christian hit a drop kick and a springboard body block onto Ted! On Christian’s way back into the ring, Ted grabbed him and hit a middle rope neckbreaker. Ted hit Christian with a clothesline, but then walked into Christian’s turnbuckle kick to the face. Christian hung Ted up on the middle rope and then got out of the ring and punched Ted in the face, followed by a cross body block off the top rope. Christian got ready for the killswitch, Ted tried to reverse it into the dream street, Christian reversed that into another killswitch attempt, but Ted got out of it. Ted countered a tornado DDT attempt and turned it into a dream street for the win.

Randy Orton defeated World Heavyweight champion Jack Swagger: Jack Swagger started off in control, but Orton dodged an attempted splash at the turnbuckle. Orton stomped on Swagger a few times but Swagger was able to slam Orton down and knock Orton out of the ring. Back from commercial, Orton European uppercut Swagger out of the ring and hit him with a shoulder block on the outside. Swagger stopped Orton on the apron and ran into him, sending Orton into the dasher boards. Swagger followed up by throwing Orton into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Swagger hit a belly to back suplex, followed by a vertical suplex. Swagger locked in an abdominal stretch, and Michael Cole pointed out it was a submission maneuver… Orton got out of it but Swagger tried to lock it back in and wound up getting thrown out of the ring. On Swagger’s way back into the ring he was kicked in the face and hit with a middle rope DDT. Orton hit a scoop slam followed by the inverted backbreaker, Orton got ready for the RKO but Swagger pushed Orton away and hit a big boot. Swagger hit a Vader bomb for 2, followed by another Vader bomb. Swagger got ready for the gut wrench powerbomb but Orton slipped out of it and hit the RKO for the 3!

ShowMiz (Mike “The Miz” Mizanin & The Big Show) defeated John Cena & David Otunga to retain the Unified Tag Team titles: John Cena and the Miz started off until Cena twisted Miz’s arm and tagged in Otunga. Otunga locked in a headlock, Miz pushed him away so Otunga hit a shoulder block, followed by another shoulder block. Cena tagged back in and threw Miz into the turnbuckle, following up with a bulldog. Show head butted Cena right in the back of the head so Miz could take over. Show tagged in but Cena began hitting Show with a flurry of punches, followed by a shoulder block that did more damage to Cena than Show. Miz tagged back in and hit his running clothesline at the turnbuckle. Miz got Cena into a chin lock for a while. Cena finally got out and they leveled each other with clotheslines. Cena was about to get the hot tag to Otunga, but Otunga jumped off the apron! Moments later, Big Show hit the knockout punch on Cena for the 3! Batista got in the ring after the match and hit the Batista bomb on Cena. Batista asked for the spotlight. Otunga said he was still the guest host, and Batista has an announcement to make. Batista said he’s evoking his rematch clause for Extreme Rules. Batista said the only way to win, is to be the Last Man Standing!
