Triple H: Chief Operating Officier Triple H came out and apologized for what happened at SummerSlam. HHH said he made a mistake and had no excuses. HHH admitted that John Cena‘s foot was under the rope and will apologize to Cena later tonight. HHH said if he didn’t screw it up he’s not sure would have won. HHH said he had no problem raising the hand of the new Undisputed champion, C.M. Punk. HHH said there was speculation on that he had something to do with what happened after the match (Kevin Nash jumped C.M. Punk and Alberto Del Rio cashed in his Money in the Bank to win the title). HHH said he has been friends with Kevin Nash for years, but he had no knowledge that Nash was going to attack Punk. HHH said he invited Nash to come explain his actions tonight. HHH said Alberto Del Rio becoming champion is okay because that’s just how Money in the Bank works. HHH said he promised that there would be one Undisputed champion, and here he is!

WWE champion Alberto Del Rio: Alberto Del Rio came out by himself holding the WWE championship. Alberto bragged about becoming the WWE champion, and how it was his destiny. Alberto said some people were just born to be great! Alberto said he wants to represent the fans with respect, honesty, and passion. Alberto said he would be in the lobby all night signing autographs and taking pictures with kids. Alberto hyped his first title defense, tonight, against Rey Mysterio. Alberto said he loves Rey Mysterio, and he loves beating Rey Mysterio! Alberto told San Diego to change their area code because tonight they will have a new hero, the Undisputed champion Alberto Del Rio!

John Morrison defeated R-Truth: The finish saw Morrison put Truth on a chair at ringside and then destroy him with a running knee followed by a pinfall on the floor.

The Miz: The Miz started by saying hello to Jared Fogle aka the Subway Guy sitting in the front row. The Miz said Jared was a huge Miz fan, but Miz was not a fan of Jared. Miz said he could be a better spokesperson for Subway than Jared. Miz walked over to Jared and took his foot long sandwich and proceeded to hype the latest sub from Subway. Miz said that was better than anything Jared has ever done. Miz claimed Subway was trending on Tritter right now because of him. Miz said he will be a champion again, because I’M THE MIZ AND I’M AWESOME!
PARKING LOT SEGMENT: Kevin Nash arrived at the building in a limousine.

WWE Diva’s champion Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres defeated The Bella Twins: After the match, Beth Phoenix & Natalya Neidhart came out scowling on the stage mocking the babyface Divas with applause..

Kevin Nash + C.M. Punk: The ring announcer did an elaborate introduction for Kevin Nash, leaving out all his TNA history, so he could walk out with no music. Nash thanked his friend Triple H for giving him a chance to come to RAW and explain his actions. Nash said he and HHH have been close friends for almost 20 years, and he’s the Godfather to his son. Nash said last night he asked HHH if he could attend Summerslam, and HHH sent him some tickets. Nash said he was watching right before the show when he got a text message (from HHH?) saying no matter what happens in the main event, stick the winner. Nash said that it was only business. Nash says he heard HHH talking about how he knows nothing about it, and called out HHH for answers. Instead of HHH, C.M. Punk showed up to confront Nash. The crowd went nuts for Punk. Punk asked if Nash expected him to believe that load of crap. Punk said that HHH has been saying for weeks that he would do what’s good for business. Punk asked Nash if HHH asked him to jump off a building, would he? – because THAT’S what’s good for business! Punk said he’s always suspected HHH doesn’t know what’s good for business, and always suspected Nash doesn’t know what’s good for business, and now he has proof! Nash told Punk to watch his mouth. Punk told Nash to watch the show more, because he does whatever and says whatever he wants to whomever he wants. Punk said maybe HHH is telling the truth, and Nash is the liar. Nash invited Punk to come look at the text on his phone. Punk pulled out his phone and read a test from his little sister “OMG Kevin Nash WTF Thought He Was Dead LOL!” Punk said his sister was wrong, Nash is not dead, but his career IS! Punk says there was a lot of people he is pissed off at, and Alberto Del Rio wasn’t one of them. Punk said HHH is the new COO and clearly he is bringing his old cronies back. Nash said HHH is shaking things up, but Punk said HE was the one shaking things up. Nash put down Punk’s short history. Punk said Nash used to call Eddie Guerrero a vanilla midget, then asked “what do you know about main event talent?” Nash went back to 1996, saying he changed the business with Scott Hall and made it so that the wrestlers got guaranteed money. Nash told Punk to take a shower, hit the weights, and get a clue! Punk said last night Nash put his hands on him and that’s not good for business. Punk said last night showed that Nash wants a fight and if he wants a fight they can fight right now! Punk went to ringside but was blocked by a team of security guards. Nash just grinned in the ring. Punk said HHH has deemed Nash untouchable. Punk said if they are protecting Nash then nobody is protecting HHH so he’ll go find him backstage.

Kevin Nash & John Laurenitis: Kevin Nash barged into Triple H’s office and found John Laurenitis. John said HHH was in a meeting with C.M. Punk. John said the way Punk talked to him last night, and to Nash last night, was unacceptable. John offered to take Nash to his office so they could talk privately.
SINGLES MATCH
Jack Swagger defeated Alex Riley: Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero joined in on commentary and they spent most of the match bicking over their issues. The finish saw Vickie take Jim Ross’ cowboy hat and put it on the referees head. This distracted Riley long enough for Swagger to hit his finisher for the win! Vickie applauded Swagger as if she was going to recruit him. Dolph got up and stomped JR’s hat.

Vickie Guerrero & Jack Swagger: Jack Swagger caught up to Vickie and thanked her for helping him out there. Swagger said Vickie was a great manager, adding that Bobby Heenan & Freddy Blassie had multiple clients. Swagger said maybe Vickie should think about expanding her roster.

C.M. Punk & Stephanie McMahon: C.M. Punk walked into an office and found Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie apologized over how he lost the title last night, even though technically he never really won because John Cena’s leg was under the rope. Stephanie said in the end, people always get what they deserve.
MPM (WWE TAG TEAM) TITLE MATCH

WWE UNDISPUTED TITLE MATCH
Alberto Del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez defeated Rey Mysterio to retain the WWE Undisputed title: After the match, Alberto further assaulted Rey’s arm until John Cena ran down to make the save! Alberto scurried away from the ring hanging off of Ricardo Rodriguez. Cena said after Summerslam he has a bunch of reasons to be pissed off. Cena said he was pissed off at a scumbag like Alberto Del Rio. Cena said after he and Punk fought hard for a championship, Alberto went into business for himself – and now walks around like a champion. Cena said Alberto was not a champion, he was a target. Cena said Alberto will realize that holding onto the WWE title makes every single person your enemy. Cena said C.M. Punk earned the right to be called champion, but Alberto cashed in a briefcase and got lucky. Cena said Alberto will soon have to defend the championship, and if it’s against him, he won’t be so lucky!
