[WWE News] With no build up or hype Christian made a return to WWE TV last night on the live ECW broadcast from Fresno. His appearance was said to be a creative decision that only came about in the last few days. He was originally slated to return to the mix in the Jeff Hardy-Edge program but when word leaked out early Vince got mad and nixed the idea and went with Matt Hardy in that spot. Christian has apparently been told that ECW will be built around him as champion and he will also be occasionally crossing over to Smackdown too.. [reported by Mike Aldren]
[WWE News] T.J. Wilson as “Tyson Kidd” alongside Natalya (his real life girlfriend) also debuted last night on ECW. He beat Bao Nguyen (a Harley Race student from Missouri) in a short TV match. [WWE News] Ashley Massaro updated her web blog hinting at a return after she spoke to Johnny Ace and noting her daughters health has improved. Massaro claimed she asked for her release last July to take care of family issues following the Rolling Stone magazine controversy where it was alleged she was at one-time employed by a Los Angeles escort agency.. [WWE News] The WWE’s UK TV contract with BSkyB K to broadcast Raw, Smackdown, ECW and other shows expires later this year. Although it’s likely both sides will come to terms there is talk that rival operator Setanta may come in and bid for the rights.. [reported by Mike Aldren]
[WWE Event] WWE returns to the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, New York on March 1st, 2009 at 5 PM. Tickets go on sale January 17th, 2009. This will be the first WWE event in Glens Falls since the summer of 2006.. [reported by Devin Cutting]
[TNA News] Petey Williams, Jimmy Rave, and Lance Rock (Hoyt) finished up with TNA last night at the Impact tapings in Orlando.
