  • (From WrestlingObserver.com):Rob Van Dam and Sabu both plea bargained down [August 31, 2006] in Ironton Municipal Court, and neither will serve time. Sabu pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (nine testolactone tablets, used to suppress the development of female physical characteristics while getting off steroids) but possession of drug paraphernalia (a bong) was dropped. He was sentenced to ten days in jail, but the term was suspended with a $500 fine plus court costs. Van Dam pleaded guilty to speeding and possession of marijuana. His charge of possession of Vicodin was dropped when he produced a valid prescription. He was fined $140 plus court costs. In theory, the guilty plea by Sabu should be a mandatory suspension (and possible termination) based on the WWE policy, but I don’t expect either to happen. After their sentencing, both men flipped off media members in the court room.
