In The Beginning: June 7, 1965: Michael Francis Foley was born in Bloomington, Indiana.. Mick Foley and his family moved to Setauket on Long Island when he was still a young boy.. While in High School, Mick Foley was training for the upcoming Lacrosse season, and became enchanted with wrestling.. The Inspiration: Mick Foley hitch-hiked to Madison Square Garden to see Jimmy Snuka leap from the top of the cage onto the prone Don Muraco.. Mick Foley's humiliation of being called "Frank" by a girl he liked, inspired Mick to create two home movies with his friends.. ~~~Mick's first video, entitled "The Legend of Frank Foley", was a comedy, in which Mick was called "Frank" by his date.. ~~~Then "Frank" attempts suicide, but is then nursed back to health, with the help of his friends.. ~~~Mick's second video, entitled "The Loved One", was about a WWF wrestler named "Dude Love".. ~~~Dude Love was a chick magnet, destined to win the WWF Championship belt.. ~~~In the climactic battle sequence, Mick took a dive off his best friend's roof, landing on a cushion of mattresses and boxes.. ~~~The video made its way into the hands of professional wrestler Dominic Denucci, who invited Foley to join his training school..
