In the Beginning:

Randy Orton is the son of legendary wrestler “Cowboy” Bob Orton Jr. and grandson of Bob Orton Sr..
Randy Orton did a few shots as a referee with World Organized Wrestling, a promotion his uncle Barry O. worked for.
Randy Orton started out in St. Louis at the South Broadway Athletic Club for a promotion called Mid Missouri Wrestling Alliance.

Randy Ortons was U/A (Unauthorized Absence) on 2 occasions from the U.S. Marines once for 82 days making him a deserter and he received a dishonorable discharge.

~~~It is believed the injury is a separated shoulder as he had his MRI done, which means he’d be out three to six weeks.
~~~If it is a rotator cuff tear, which was considered the worst case scenario, that could require surgery.
March 2002: Randy Orton was sent back to Ohio Valley Wrestling to sharpen his skills.

May 2, 2002 – SmackDown: Randy Orton faces Hardcore Holly for the second week in a row.

May 9, 2002 – SmackDown: Lance Storm defeated Randy Orton with Hardcore Holly was the guest referee.
